Shakespeare’s is a supplier of books to schools and libraries, as well as to the general public, within the Adelaide area. Whether you are looking for a single title, class sets, or recommendations to meet your specific requirements, we are happy to discuss your needs.
We issue a monthly catalogue, detailing all new titles from major publishers and an update on any events which may be of relevance.
For all school orders, we offer competitive discounts and are also able to provide a book covering service for a small additional fee.
We recognise the important balance of providing sufficient visibility to our customers without becoming a nuisance and, to maintain this balance, we can provide a range of services to suit your needs: We can visit your school at a time that is convenient to you, with a selection of new titles and others that we feel may be of interest. These visits can be set up regularly (i.e. once per semester) or upon request. We will be able to discuss each title and offer advice on content and age suitability.
- You are welcome to visit our shop at Port Noarlunga during opening hours and browse our children’s and young adult’s titles whilst enjoying a drink from our coffee bar. Feel free to make a visit to the shop with some children from your school and perhaps have a visit to the newly renovated beachfront at the same time. We will happily prepare cold drinks and cookies for the children and coffee for the teachers at no charge.
- Order titles from our catalogue using the order form above. The completed form can be emailed to contact@shakespearesbooks.com.au. If you would like to receive our monthly catalogue by email, please let us know. Call us at any time on 8382 3343 or email us to request information or quotes on any titles, or fill out the information request form that can be found here.
We are also able to arrange a visit to your school by Mike Lucas, author of several children’s poetry books (www.mikelucas.com.au) for a fun and interactive session for students of all ages, designed and proven to inspire children to write, read and enjoy poetry. Please contact us for details.
